Winter Wreath Workshop

The Garden Club held a fun workshop recently.  We learned how to make wreaths!  Using the technique used by prolific wreath maker Judy O’Dell, we first made frames by binding stalks of Scotch broom together with wire.  Then we created “bouquets” of greens and attached them to the frames.  Everyone made a unique and beautiful wreath.  Some were small and meant to double as a table centrepiece.  Others were gigantic!  Robin Beaton took some lovely photos.  Here is a sampling:
