A Fall Potluck!

5pm – Flower Arranging Mini-Workshop

6pm-8pm – Potluck and Sharing Circle

with Special Guest Ryan Nassichuk

Everyone welcome, please invite your gardening friends!

Come at 5pm with flowers and greenery from your garden, and some jars (we’ll bring some to share as well). We will create beautiful bouquets for our tables during our flower arranging mini-workshop.

Come at 6pm with a contribution to the potluck, made with local food if you can. Please provide a list of ingredients on a label for people with food sensitivities/allergies (we’ll bring extra paper just in case).

Stay after the potluck for a sharing circle where everyone will have a chance to talk about this year’s gardening season. We will be joined by special guest, local horticulturalist Ryan Nassichuk. Here are the questions we’ll be using:

* How did your garden grow this summer?
* What brought you joy?
* What did you learn?
* What do you want to do differently next year?
* What do you have planned and planted for your winter garden?
* What questions do you have for local horticulturalist Ryan Nassichuk and other gardeners?

The Quadra Island Garden Club meets monthly to exchange gardening knowledge, promote sustainable and productive practices, and foster friendship among island gardeners.

Everyone welcome! Cost of this event: FREE! Come early to renew your annual membership (Individuals $20/Family $30). Membership fees are used to pay our amazing speakers and cover other costs.
