Every year we do a garden slideshow. This year we are doing something a little different! Local photographer and gardener Allan Mandell is putting together some beautiful photos of west coast gardens as well as some images from his most recent trip to Japan! He will also be showing a previous show showcasing Quadra Gardens in the fall.
This year we are also going to be showing some short garden videos from local videographer and gardener Paul Davies who now has a YouTube Channel! Paul has developed a variety of tools and techniques for gardening in efficient and ergonomic ways, and loves to share his learning via video.
At the end of the meeting we will be hosting a discussion so we all can learn from the wisdom in the room. Questions will include: What do you struggle with in the garden? Where do you go for inspiration and advice? What were your favourite seeds or plants in 2024? What topics would you like to learn about in 2025/2026?
